Currently, Pocket PE is available for Grades 3–5. Our K–2 curriculum is in development, with availability projected in 2026.

Pocket PE was created with classroom teachers in mind, providing accessible, standards-aligned physical education tools for any instructional setting. The app also supports PE specialists and adapts seamlessly to hybrid and collaborative models, ensuring every educator can deliver effective, engaging PE—regardless of background or teaching environment.

Pocket PE was developed by a team of experts, led by Research Scientist Dr. Jeanette Ricci, with support from CDC and NIH Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants. Educators from diverse backgrounds helped shape both the curriculum and product design, ensuring our program is grounded in both research and real-world classroom experience.

Pocket PE is committed to privacy and does not collect student-level data. Educators can monitor and export class-level metrics for PE minutes and achieved standards for mandated requirements.

Yes. After signing in, all Pocket PE features remain accessible offline, except for exporting PE Data Reports. This ensures educators can deliver standards-aligned lessons anywhere, regardless of WiFi connectivity.
